Citizen Schools Features
LuLu's as the Case Study for Cisco WOW Event!

A select group of middle school students from the Citizen School in Redwood City used LuLu's Restaurants as the case study for an research project to understand what it takes to start a small business. Guided by their Citizen Teachers, Cisco employees, students learned teamwork, data analysis and critical thinking skills as part of the development of 21st Century Skills. The project culminated in the students presenting their finding at Cisco's south bay offices to a team of Cisco executives, Citizen School staff and LuLu's owners.

Helping Build a Home in Ensenda

LuLu's Mexican Restaurants helps build a home for a needy family in Ensenda, Mexico!

Eight families from San Carlos journeyed to Ensenda Mexico to join forces with Agua Viva Ministries to make a families dream of a home come true. The group needed to raise $6000 to pay for the construction materials to build a 600 square foot home for a couple and their three children. They held a Mexican fiesta fundraising dinner with food graciously provided by LuLu's Mexican Restaurants at a local church in San Carlos. The group raised enough money to build a wonderful home and donated cash to the family for them to begin purchasing furnishing.
